Kevin Scott MinyardThousand Oaks, CAKevin Minyard, loving son, brother, father and grandfather, passed away in Thousand Oaks, CA on November 30, 2016 at his brother Rick's home after a 15 month battle with lung and brain cancer. Kevin was a chef by trade and passion and was most proud of his original triple layer bacon meatloaf featuring mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Kevin was born on the 4th of July and proceeded to live his life as if it were a fireworks show. His friends and family never had a dull moment around him. He lived life on his terms. Kevin loved his family so much, and is equally loved by them. Kevin is survived by his father and stepmother, Ken and Jackie Minyard, his mother and stepfather Oma and John Maurer, his daughter Kaitlyn Minyard Salado-Poor, her husband Thomas and grandson Matteo, his daughter Cierra and granddaughter Cali, his brother and sister in law, Rick and Lisa Minyard, his sister Dana Minyard, his grandmother Marie Cornejo and all of whom will miss him dearly.In lieu of flowers, Kevin would have appreciated donations to the Humane Society.
