Kerry Francis Brussel of Lansing passed away after a five-month battle with liver disease on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, age 57 years. Kerry was born on May 7, 1957 in Tawas City to Durwood and Mary (DeLage) Brussel. Kerry was preceded in death by his father; grandma and grandpa Brussel; grandma and grandpa DeLage; and a brother, William.Kerry is survived by his loving mother, Mary Brussel of Tawas; sisters, Debbie (Barry), Laurie, and Sheryl (Rob); a brother, Tim (Pauline); and his four sons, Nick, Willie, Andy and Bryan. Funeral services for Kerry are scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Wilber United Methodist Church with Pastor Brenda Klacking officiating. His family will welcome friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for visitation. Interment will take place in Wilber Township Cemetery.
