Kent A. Maske Kent A. Maske, age 52, passed away on Saturday June 24, 2017 at home. Kent was born on June 22, 1965 in Yakima, Washington to Len and Margaret Maske. While he was a young boy, his mother passed away from cancer. Len and Kent moved to Olympia when he was 8. Shortly after this, Len remarried and Kent was given another family. Kent attended North Thurston Public Schools, graduating from North Thurston High School in 1983. While in school Kent made many life-long friends. Kent developed a deep love of snow skiing activities while living in Germany and serving his country for 3 years. Later, he was employed by Tanglewilde Lumber and Gary's Bulldozing. Kent was an avid "12th Man". He loved anything outdoors, including motocross, in-line skating, mountain biking, boating, skiing and fishing. He was an endless bundle of energy, whose smile will never be forgotten. Kent is survived by his "mom and dad" Lora and Larry Johnson, sisters Tish Heerlyn, Leanne Willcuts and Rebecca Shannon, brother Matthew Johnson, a niece and 4 nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father. There will be a gathering for friends and family on Friday, July 7th. For information and directions, please email [email protected].
