Maguire, KennethKenneth L. Maguire, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, surrounded by his loving wife Judy and daughter Erin, at home after an extended illness.Kenneth was born on March 6, 1938 to Kenneth and Helene (Papp) Maguire. He graduated from North Chicago High School in 1956 and went on to work for the North Shore Sanitary District. He would spend the majority of his career with Wisconsin Bell/CenturyTel Telephone Company, retiring in 1999, after 31 ½ years of dedicated service.On November 23, 1979, he married the love of his life, Judith (Klemp) Maguire at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, in Ripon. He worked hard to provide for and support his family. An avid musician, the home was often filled with music and song. He excelled at golf, and will be sorely missed by the fellow members of the Utica Wednesday Men's League. He loved gathering the neighborhood for coffee and conversation in the driveway of the family home on summer evenings. The cul de sac will sorely miss "Sittin' out with Kenny."Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Judy of Ripon; daughters, Erin Maguire of Ripon and Heather (Kevin) Maguire of Suamico, WI; son, Jim (Kimberly) Maguire of Prairie Du Chien, WI; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Michael; a sister-in-law, Andrea Maguire; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helene Maguire; brother, Keith Maguire; sister, Judith Maguire-Levonowicz; brother-in-law, LeLon "Skip" Klemp; his faithful companion, Meiko; countless dear friends and fellow golfing buddies.A visitation for Kenneth will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St, Ripon, WI. A funeral service for Kenneth will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating.
