Kenneth L. FergusonKenneth Lloyd Ferguson of Ellensburg passed away on April 18, 2015. Ken was born on March 27, 1949 at Tacoma General Hospital. As a youth Ken saw much of the world and experienced different cultures as the family spent 5 years living in Japan and 2 years in Germany.After graduation from Toppenish High School in 1967, his exploration of the world continued when he joined the Navy. He was Honorably Discharged in 1976, after his tenure as a Submarine Sonar Technician.On September 9, 2006, Ken married his wife Barbara, as a result of some match making that got it right. Theirs was a happy match that you could not help but notice as they both filled each others life with joy, caring and endless love. Ken retired from auto parts sales, where he made many friends within the community. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time boating and fishing with friends and family. Ken enjoyed fishing, puttering and tinkering with things, watching a good game and especially exploring hidden gems of nature in the area during a quick road trip. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jendrycka) Ferguson, his brother Ronald Ferguson of Yakima, and his sister Janice Bertsch of Matlock.
