Kenneth E. "Knappy" KnappZANESVILLE: Kenneth E. "Knappy" Knapp, 69, of Zanesville, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Sat. Jan. 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 18, 1947 in Zanesville. He was retired from Armco Steel where he worked for 36 years. He was a United States Army veteran, member of the Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. He enjoyed fast pitch softball, golf, bowling, and gambling trips.He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary F. (Brooks) Knapp. Two daughters Angie (Elizabeth) Knapp and Mary (Randy) Pierce. One son Scott (Erica) Knapp. Five grandchildren Devin McDonald, Marcus Johnson, Marlee Pierce, Kayla Knapp, and Titus Knapp. Two sisters Kay Knapp and Bobbie Sue Zdrecky. One brother Rob Huey. His mothers Dee (Delores) Huey and Jean Knapp. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth E. Knapp.No calling hours will be held. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
