Kenneth Alexander Matthews, age 47 of matthews, passed peacefully in his sleep from this life to Glory with Jesus on Tuesday, September 18, 2019. In life, through sickness and health, Harry fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith to the end. He was indeed a warrior for the Kingdom of Heaven. Kenneth was born and raised in the city of Atlanta Georgia, and graduated from Walton Highschool class of 1990. He enjoyed many special pastimes including traveling to Niagara Falls and several trips to northern Michigan. One of her favorite memories was attending the Osmond concert in Chicago, a trip she had planned for a long time. For relaxation, Kenneth enjoying making sculptures and singing gospel songs. In this big world, Kenneth had a way of making even a stranger feel welcome. He had a beautiful heart, and his way of making people feel special was his way of honoring his love for the Lord. Sadly, Kenneth passed away on September 10, 2019. As we search for peace in our loss, we can find comfort in remembering Kenneth's infectious laugh. He was a gem, and we will never forget him.
