Kelly S. Williams, 56HARTFORD CITY - Kelly S. Williams, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her residence. She was born on March 2, 1961 in Muncie, the daughter of James L. and Mary (Adams) Williams and graduated from Blackford High School in 1979 and Ball Memorial Nursing Program in 1981.Kelly worked as an L.P.N. for Ball Memorial Hospital for many years, Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Visiting Nursing Services and currently for Via Quest.           She enjoyed bike riding, swimming and loved going to the beach and the sun. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and many friends.           Surviving are her father, James L. Williams of Angola; one son, Andrew L. Batten (wife, Sommer) of Pennville; two grandchildren, Reese and Rex Batten; one brother, Larry Williams of Jacksonville, FL; her "golden girls", Kim Cox and Angie Hartman, both of Muncie; and numerous friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Williams in 1999. Per her request, cremation will take place and a party to celebrate her life will be scheduled at a later date.
