Kelly Benton, born on September 22, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on June 6, 2024, in a peaceful slumber. Known for his charming personality and infectious laugh, Kelly will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kelly was the beloved son of Jeremiah Louise Benton and Sharrice Angela Benton. Him and Pamela Curry, his late partner raised two wonderful children, Tiajuana Bridget Curry and Lakia Katisha Benton. Kelly was also a proud grandparent to six grandchildren.

Kelly could often be found in his kitchen, whipping up various kinds of meals for family and friends, or in his art studio, bringing life to a canvas.

Unfortunately, Kelly's colorful life was cut short due to complications from heart arrhythmia. Though he may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Rest in peace, Kelly Benton. You will always be remembered for your joyful spirit and kind heart.
