A life that we’ll be remembered

Keith Murphy, born on January 15, 1989, in London, Ohio, United States, passed away on may 20th 2025 He was the beloved son of James and Christy Murphy and loving husband to Jessie Murphy whom he married in the year 2003. Keith was a devoted father to his three children, Keith, Luke, and Jake.

Keith graduated from Belmont High School in 2000 and went on to further his education at texas University, graduating in 2004. He pursued a career as an electrician and eventually retired after many years of dedicated service. Keith also proudly served in the Navy, where he demonstrated his unwavering commitment to his country.


Keith left behind a sister Sherrel Cochran; a brother Malik Murphy; a cousin Jamel; 3 sons Luke, Cody, Peter; a nephew Donminic Conner; a niece Shamiah Conner; a niece Darlene; and a wife Jessica murphy


**KNOWLEDGMENTS**  

Murphy wishes to express appreciation for all the prayers, phone calls, visits and acts of kindness shown during the time of her lengthy illness and finally death. 

**COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT**  

Keith was a pillar in his local community, volunteering for many years at the London Food Pantry, where he helped ensure families in need had access to meals during tough times. He also coached his sons’ Little League baseball teams, inspiring young athletes with his patience and encouragement. His dedication to service extended to his church, where he organized annual charity drives to support veterans, a cause close to his heart given his Navy background.

**CLOSING TRIBUTE**  

Keith’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will live on through all who had the privilege of knowing him. His favorite quote, “Leave the world better than you found it,” truly encapsulated the way he lived his life. A celebration of life will be held at the family’s home on may 22nd , following the service, where friends and loved ones are invited to share stories and honor Keith’s memory.

**REPAST**


Basketball and football were among Keith’s favorite hobbies, and he could often be found enjoying a friendly game with friends and family. His passion for sports reflected his competitive spirit and love for athleticismwas a devoted father an avid skier. He enjoyed hiking and backpacking in the Rockies, traveled to 33 countries, and was an amateur mandolin player. He often played at local coffee shops and was known as a skilled and intuitive musician among his avid listeners. He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and around the house. He was a spiritual man and involved in many church activities, including playing the mandolin during services. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.


Keith Murphy will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him . 5-21-25 date of service
