On October 6, 2025, we said goodbye to our beloved Katrina Donaldson-Mayers of Suffolk, Virginia. Born on January 10, 1973, Katrina was the light of our lives.

She is survived by her partner Trevis Mayers, her father Richard Donaldson, her mother Margelene Donaldson, her children Marlene Donaldson, Da’Tra Mayers, and Dayza Mayers, as well as her four precious grandchildren.

Katrina graduated from Saint Augustine High School in 1991 and went on to become a dedicated social worker, retiring in 2012. She was known for her tireless efforts in back to school drives, feeding the homeless, and Salvation Army drives.

When she wasn't working, Katrina enjoyed preparing taxes, crocheting, and giving back to the community. Her generous spirit and warm smile will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Although we are heartbroken by her tragic passing in a car accident, we take solace in knowing that Katrina's legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
