Kathryn N. Colson, 89, of Grandview, Washington, died June 6, 2013, at Kittitas Valley Healthcare Hospital in Ellensburg, Washington, after a brief illness. She was born on February 23, 1924, in Ridgeway, Missouri, to Ralph and Bessie Scott. Kathryn grew up and attended Schools near Boise, Idaho. On March 17, 1945, she married Don Colson in Boise, Idaho. She moved from Idaho to Grandview in 1947 and lived there until her death. She enjoyed bowling, camping, reading, and sharing time with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Betty (Lee) Cervine of Ellensburg; granddaughter, Lisa Cervine of Kittitas; grandson, Scott (Annette) Cervine of East Wenatchee; a brother, Zenith (Thelma) Scott of Boise, Idaho; and grandchildren, Camila, Cadin, and Danika. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bessie Scott; husband, Don Colson; brother, Gerald Scott; sisters, Helen Parsons, Merle Felt, and Gertrude Warren; and great-grandson, Jeffrey Cervine.
