Kathryn Lynn Shaw (Kay) age 67, passed away peacefully from complications of cancer on July 28, 2017 in Ellensburg, WA.Kay was born on February 26, 1950 in Walla Walla, WA to Loris and Eddie Allen. They later moved to Ellensburg and eventually moved to and settled in South Cle Elum. Kay graduated from Easton High School in 1969. On December 1, 1978 she married the love of her life, Glen Shaw, and the two made a home and raised their family in Cle Elum. In 1987 she went to work for Ellensburg Cement Products where she worked as a Weigh Master for 26 years before finally retiring in 2013.Kay loved to spend time with friends and family and was known for her sense of humor. When someone would say to her "okay" she would reply, "No, I'm Kay, you're oh…" A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Kay will be missed by many but forgotten by no one that knew her.Kay is survived by her husband, Glen Shaw, of South Cle Elum; her daughter, Lora Bishop of South Cle Elum; her son, Ed Brower (Darcy) of Kittitas; her daughter Glenda Hartzell (Mike) of Moses Lake; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Allen; mother and best friend, Loris Allen and a brother, Paul Allen.A celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Mikes Tavern in Cle Elum.
