Mrs. Kathryn Ann Tillman, nee Rockenbaugh, lovingly known as "nanny" or "KT", passed away peacefully October 16, 2024 in Gainesville, Florida, at the age of 71. 

Kathryn was born on December 18, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Milton and Evelyn Rockenbaugh. She was their youngest daughter. 

She graduated from West High school in Columbus Ohio in 1970. 

 After graduating from high school, she went on to attend Mata College Automation, also in Columbus Ohio. 

She eventually moved to St Petersburg, Florida in the late 1970s.  While living in St Petersburg, Kathryn earned numerous certificates (typing, accounting, medical transcription.) 

Kathryn and her daughters eventually packed up and moved to Gainesville, Fl in 1990. She met her future husband, Jeff in 1992.They got married July 9, 1994. 

Kathryn worked for Dr Jack Londono from October 1990 thru July 1998. She left Dr Londono’s practice when she was hired onto Shands/UF Health where she worked until her retirement December of 2017.  While working at Shands, Kathryn became a professional coder in 2003 and a notary. 

Kathryn was known telling it like it is and always having a Diet Coke in her hand. She loved spending time with her family, making them take goofy pictures at holidays so she could use them as that year’s Christmas card, playing cards with her neighbors. Kathryn's legacy of love and selflessness will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

Kathryn  is survived by her spouse: Jeff, 3 daughters: Kimberly, Tamara, and Emmalee.  Her 4 grandchildren: Cody, Kaitlyn, Stacy, and Kendall. She also had 1 great grandson, Levi.....All of whom she loved dearly. 

She is preceded in death by her mother (Evelyn), father (Milton), sister (Patricia), grandson (Blake)

A celebration of life will be held Sunday October 27th at 2pm at Christian Life World.
