Kathleen J. Moyer, 78, of Wyomissing, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at 12:10 a.m. in her home. She was the beloved wife, for 57 years, of Rodney E. Moyer.

Kathleen was born on June 12, 1938 in Reading to the late George F. and Catherine (McWilliams) Meiran.

After graduating from the former Central Catholic High School in 1956 she attended Kutztown University.

She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and was employed at the J.R. Clark Company, the House of Leather and H.H. Bealler as a bookkeeper.

In addition to her husband, Rodney, Kathleen was a

loving mother to Rodney M. Moyer, husband of Carol A. Moyer of West Chester; Patrick J. Moyer, husband of Carla M. Moyer, of Concord, North Carolina; and Christine C. Boyer, wife of Michael W. Boyer, of Cornwall, Pennsylvania. She was a loving grandmother to Michael, Zachary, Scott, Hannah, Caitlyn, Mackenzie and Tully; and a loving

great-grandmother to Layla. Kathleen is also survived by her sister Margaret E. Phillips, wife of Gregory Steele, of Kokomo, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her brother George T. Meiran.

Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Thursday,

November 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Thomas P. Bortz will officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday,

November 17, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
