We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Kathleen Mitchell, who was born on December 15, 1959, and passed away on November 22, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana, United States. Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Felix Cook Jr. and Priscilla, and the loving partner of Robert Lewis. She leaves behind her three children, Corey Johnson Cook (spouse Chris Cook), James Keith Mitchell, and Iven Belmonte Mitchell, as well as nine adoring grandchildren.

Kathleen was a graduate of Salman High School and spent many years working at Her Kitchen. She was known for her kind and gentle spirit, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. Her warm smile and caring nature will never be forgotten.

May Kathleen Mitchell rest in peace, knowing she was loved and cherished by so many.
