Katherine Faketty, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born on June 10, 1954.

Katherine attended Stillman Valley High School and went on to have a successful career in Accounts Payable until her retirement in 2016.

She was known for her love of gardening, baking, and motorcycling. Katherine always had a green thumb and could often be found in her garden tending to her plants.

She is survived by her partner, Michael, and their three children: Sarah, Elizabeth, and Randall. In addition, Katherine leaves behind eight adoring grandchildren.

Katherine will be remembered for her infectious laughter and warm heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
