Katherine Elizabeth Wodicka RACINE – Katherine Elizabeth Wodicka, 87, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Elizabeth Residence in Caledonia. She was born on March 23, 1927 in Beardstown, IL, the daughter of Charles J. and Zada L. (nee: McCall) Rice. She was united in marriage to Harold H. Wodicka on May 4, 1946 in Racine. After 64 years of marriage, Harold preceded her in death on May 30, 2010. Katherine is survived by her six children, Karen (Joe) Hock of Athens, GA, Barbara (Bob) Rozzoni of Grayslake, IL, Sheryl (Harold) Jacoby of Racine, Harold (Sally) Wodicka of Elkhorn, Kevin (Josef Bressani) Wodicka of South Beach, FL, and Jennifer Gregory of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren, Teresa (Marc), Antonia (Nick), Amy, Lauren (Matt), Eric, Braden and Allison; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Joseph; one sister, Delores Hilt, one brother-in-law, Joseph Habetler both of Racine. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Clara, Zada and Doris, four brothers, Wilfred, Willard, Charles and William. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home before services from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. The family has requested in lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, that an act of kindness to others be performed in honor of Katherine, or memorials in Katherine’s name to .
