ANGOLA — Katherine L. "Kate" Bellinger, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at her home in Angola. She retired from Acorn Manufacturing in Quincy, Michigan. Ms. Bellinger was born on Feb. 3, 1937 in Angola to Joseph William Sr. and Jessie Irene (Rowley) Richardson. She married Asa G. Bellinger on March 16, 1953. Surviving is her son, Steven (Rebecca) Bellinger of Fremont; two daughters, Kathy (Gerry) Rumsey of Angola and Rachel (TJ) Konrad of Angola; brother Steve (Joann) Richardson of Hillsdale, Michigan; two sisters, Jean Depue of Dayton, Ohio, and Norma Beattie of Angola; 11 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joseph "Jay" Richardson and William Richardson; and three sisters, Mary Walker, Laura Roemer and Shirley Neeley. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola. Burial will be in the Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County. Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
