Standley, Kate I. Kate I. Standley passed away on April 17, 2017 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. Kate was born on April 26, 1956 in Riverside, New Jersey to Paul and Ruth Orfe. Kate grew up in Riverside and after jr. high school, her family moved to Tucson, AZ where she graduated from Cholla High School, in 1976. Kate worked as an investigator for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, then as an investigator in the Fraud Unit of the Mesa Police Department. She retired in 2005. Kate is survived by her husband, Curt Standley; her three daughters, Kris Dunn, Kari Klaas and Kirstin Olivieri; and her eight grandchildren, Kirsti McCall, Kaitlyn Klaas, Coleman Klaas, Zachary Dunn, Kameron Dunn, Wrigley Olivieri, Grayson Olivieri, and Paxton Olivieri. The family requests that donations be made to the in Kate's name. Final arrangements were entrusted to Sonoran Skies Mortuary.
