On May 3, 2023, our beloved Katarina Martinovic of Belgrade, Central Serbia, Serbia, passed away tragically at the young age of 12. She was born on July 25, 2010, and brought joy and love to all those around her.

Katarina was a bright and dedicated student at Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary High School, where she excelled in her studies and showed a passion for learning. She was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering determination to succeed.

Outside of school, Katarina found joy and solace in ballet, a hobby that allowed her to express herself and showcase her creativity. She poured her heart and soul into her performances, captivating audiences with her grace and talent.

Tragically, Katarina's life was cut short by a senseless act of violence in a school shooting. Our hearts are heavy with grief as we mourn the loss of such a promising young soul who had so much potential and so much left to give to the world.

Although her time with us was far too short, Katarina's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
