Karlene Kay Ruse , 77 of Centralia Mo died on  Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at home. 

Karlene was born on November 11, 1942 in Grand Island, Nebraska the daughter of Harry Alfred and Julia Ethel (Tee) Ruse. 

Karlene married Rollo Dopler on November 1, 1963; He preceded her in death on May 1, 1985.  She married Phillip Hastie on April 21, 1973;  He preceded her in death on December 16, 2007.  

She is survived by her children, Rodney Dopler and his wife Jean of Caddo Mills, Tx.  David Dopler and his wife Denise of Centralia, Mo.  Heather Williams and her husband Steve of Maryville, Tn.  Her grandchildren Matt Lindley, Brady Dopler, Abbi Dopler, Isabella Dopler, Presley Dopler, Derek Dopler, Dylan Dopler, Kensley Kropf & Kyan Williams.  One great granddaughter  Quinnley Kropf.  
Her siblings Judy Beal and husband Reed, Dan Ruse, Roger Ruse and Joni Lant and husband Marty.  Many nieces & nephews.  

In addition to her former husbands she was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Karlene was a housewife and stay at home mom. She worked for Burlington Hospital in Burlington Iowa as a supply tech for 20 years until her retirement.  

Karlene loved her kids and grandchildren.   They were the lights of her life.  She also deeply loved her siblings.  To her, family was everything and she just wanted to love and be loved.  She had an awesome sense of humor and was a lot of fun to be around.
