Karen Sue (Kizer) ForemanFREMONT: Karen Sue (Kizer) Foreman, 76, of Fremont, went to her heavenly home to rejoin her loving husband on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Valley View Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving children.Karen was born on July 18, 1941 to Lloyd "Lefty" and Opal (Little) Kizer. Karen married her soul mate Larry W.L. Foreman on February 4, 1961 in Bettsville and he preceded her in death in 2015.Surviving Karen is her loving family which include three sons, Larry (Dawn) of Fremont, Michael (Dotsie) of Helena, Kenneth of Bettsville, a daughter, Dawn (Kevin) Shellhouse also of Bettsville. Also surviving Karen are her fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, Ralph Kizer of Tiffin and her pet bird, "Sunshine."Karen is also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Phillip Kizer. She graduated from Bettsville in 1959. Karen worked many years at Bettsville Pie House and did babysitting for many children in the Bettsville area. Karen really enjoyed doing many crafts and spending time shopping with her daughter Dawn.Funeral services for Karen will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Bettsville with the Rev. Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
