We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Karen Smith, who was born on October 9, 1950, and peacefully left this world on October 29, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas.

Karen was the beloved daughter of Donald and Rita Smith, she is survived by her two siblings, brothers Mark Smith from Wichita, Ks. and Matt Smith from Savannah, Ga. Preceeded in death by her cherished partner Michael Sucher. Survived by three wonderful children: Tricia Sucher Nicks, Joshua Sucher, and Jennifer (Alex) Sucher Snodgrass.

Throughout her life, Karen was a devoted mother, partner, and friend. She had a kind heart and a gentle spirit that touched everyone she met. Her love and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her children, Karen leaves behind seven grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride to her life. A Private Family and close friends Memorial Dinner will be held November 23, 7:00 PM at her residence, 9810 W. Cornelison St, Wichita, Ks.

May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and will never be forgotten.
