Karen Rocshell Abernathy was born May 29, 1957 to the late Anita Alice Abernathy. On August 10, 2020, the Lord called Karen home at the age of 63; it was time to pack her bags.

During Karen’s lifetime, she lived life as a free-spirited individual. She was full of personality and you knew when she entered the room. She was full of joy, jokes and laughter. She was affectionately called “Lil Killa”(fo short)!!

Karen spent most of her adult life in Kansas City, Missouri. She was there for a number of years before taking ill and returning to St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her brother (Victor), her uncle (Wendell) and her aunts (Eversa Jean, Audrey and JoAnn).

Karen leaves behind her daughter (Trina) and her granddaughter (Trinay), her aunt (Jacqueline), her sisters, (Donice (William), Darlene, Rosalind), her brother (Andre), a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
