Karen L. Tambourelli, age 78, currently of Hartly, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Lancaster, PA, on Februrary 12, 1940, she was the only daughter of the late Frances L. and Geraldine Callahan.  A talented seamstress, Karen dedicated her time to making clothing for her small family.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and doting on her great grandchildren.  She had a passion for fishing. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren, Rachel, Chris, Cheyenne; and 6 great grandchildren.

Interment and small graveside memorial will be private. In lieu of calling on the family, donations are asked for Helen Graham Cancer Center: 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE, 19713.
