We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Karen Kilgore, who was born on August 16, 1949, in Phoenix, Arizona. She peacefully passed away on May 15, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was the beloved daughter of William Ranger and Pauline Dunlap. She leaves behind her children, Kelly Lively (spouse Robert Lively) and Paul Kilgore. Karen also leaves behind her cherished and only granddaughter Kayla.

Karen attended Lapeer High School and graduated in 1967. After graduation, she worked diligently until her retirement in 2012. She had a passion for thrifting, garage sales, and reading. Karen was also deeply involved in her church, where she found comfort and community.

Unfortunately, Karen's life was cut short by a battle with lung cancer. She faced her illness with courage and grace, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Karen Kilgore will be dearly missed and remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. May she rest in peace.
