Karen J. BowermanKaren J. Bowerman, 77, of Frankfort passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Clinton House in Frankfort. She was born on March 15, 1940 in Frankfort to Robert Lucas & Esther "Pauline" (Stewart) Campbell. Her marriage was to Jack Bowerman.Karen worked in Customer Service at Lafayette Venetian Blind retiring in May of 2001. She lived most of her life in the Frankfort and Lafayette areas and was a 1959 graduate of Frankfort High School. Karen also attended courses at IVY Tech in Lafayette. Karen is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Christine Bowerman of Frankfort and Angela Rene Bowerman of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Carolyn Kelsey.Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from Noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
