Karen King, a beloved member of the San Diego community, sadly passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 78. Born on August 25, 1945, she lived a life filled with compassion and strength. Karen's vibrant spirit was evident in every interaction she had, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She dedicated much of her time caring for her beloved dogs she had throughout her life, her most precious dog was Kenya and Morphius, she enjoyed cooking and making sure you had a smile on your face after eating, she enjoyed watching movies with her son Lorenzo, she also enjoyed playing dominoes and if you tried to cheat, it brought joy to her to call you out on it. Karen was a member of New Creations Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services and praising God. She loved purchasing items from QVC and making sure she always had a gift for all occasions for people, those blue boxes will definitely be missed. Karen loved spending time with family and just sitting and talking and laughing, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Karen's infectious laughter and kind heart will be dearly missed by family, friends and acquaintances alike. Her legacy will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
