A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother (maw maw duck), sister and friend, Karen Allen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Karen died peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 57. 

Karen was a homemaker and devoted her life to the love and care of her family! She was a very kind, strong and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She also enjoyed listening to Cajun music, cooking and making anything out of nothing.

She will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts she touched especially her loving husband of 30 years, John Allen of Foxworth MS; her ten children, April Granger and husband Will, Henry Abbot, Carl Abbott and wife Denae’, Kristy Bergeaux, Donald “T-tiy” Johnson and wife Nichole, Jr Allen, Jeffery Courville and fiancé Paola, Jacob Allen and wife Peyton, Nikki Allen and Destiny Allen; her father, Henry Courville; her two sisters, Sandra Courville and Shelley Cortina; her two brothers, Johnny Courville and Gary Courville; her fifteen grandchildren and one on the way; as well as extended family and friends. 

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Mabel Courville; daughter, Jennifer Allen; sister Amie Bihm. At the request of the family, all they ask is for prayers and to keep her memory alive.
