Justina Rivera, also known as the Flan Master, passed away on August 9, 2024, in Juncos, Puerto Rico. She was born on April 12, 1930, and lived a sweet and fulfilling life.
Justina had a talent for whipping up the fluffiest, most decadent flans that would make your taste buds sing. She could turn a simple dessert into a work of art that would leave you begging for seconds (and thirds).
When Justina wasn't in the kitchen perfecting her flan recipe, she could be found enjoying her other favorite pastimes, like watching telenovelas and giving unsolicited advice on how to live your best life.
Despite her love for sweets, Justina had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, warm hugs, and endless love.
Justina is survived by her two children, Mildred and Alexis, who will forever cherish the memories of her delicious flans and unwavering love. She also leaves behind three adoring grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Rest in peace, Justina. May your flans be forever perfect and your telenovelas always entertaining. You will be deeply missed.
