LAGRANGE — Justin Thomas Lower, 30, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at his home. Justin was born on May 27, 1985, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Debra K. (Hurlbut) and Tony M. Lower. Living most of his life in LaGrange County, he was a 2003 graduate of Lakeland High School in LaGrange, Indiana. Justin was a deep soul who loved his family, especially being the best daddy to his daughter. He was a generous person, a gifted writer, avid reader, an artist and loved music. He enjoyed being in the outdoors especially fishing, camping, and kayaking and was passionate about the University of Michigan Wolverines and the San Francisco 49ers. Surviving Justin are his parents, Debra and Tony Lower of Kendallville, Indiana; his daughter, Elyssa M. Lower and her mother, Erin Colin, of LaGrange; his grandparents, Donald and Sherry Hurlbut of Ligonier, Indiana; a brother and his fiancé, Ryan Lower and Jamie Till of Fort Wayne, Indiana; an aunt and two uncles, Lisa and Skip Harmeyer of Kendallville, Indiana, and Doug Hurlbut of Noblesville, Indiana; and two cousins, Caleb and Hannah Harmeyer of Kendallville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Shirley Lower. A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W.
