She was born on June 2, 1926, daughter of the late William and Julia (nee: Acker) Holterman on the family farm in St. Martins (Franklin). June was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph Michel, Jr., on September 13, 1947, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Martins. Joseph preceded her in death on October 17, 1973.
