Julius Smith Jr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 63. He was born on September 28, 1959, to his parents Julius Smith Sr. and Martha Gibbons in an undefined location.

Julius was a loving and devoted spouse to his wife Kimberly Smith, whom he married in 1980. Together, they shared a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. In their 43 years of marriage, they were blessed with eleven incredible children: Julius Smith III, Isaiah Smith, Micheal Smith, Tasha smith, Latoya smith, Jaleesa Smith, Jasmine Smith, Wendy Smith, Gail Smith, Norman Smith, and Shandy Smith.

Julius was an exceptional father, always present and deeply committed to his children's well-being. He instilled in them the values of love, respect, and the importance of family. His love for his grandchildren was boundless, and they brought him immense joy. Julius leaves behind eight beautiful grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Julius pursued his education at Asbury Park High School, where he graduated in 1982. His time at high school was filled with countless friendships, memorable experiences, and the acquisition of knowledge that would shape his future.

Tragically, on October 24, 2023, Julius succumbed to his battle with cancer. He faced this formidable foe with unwavering strength, courage, and dignity. Julius's indomitable spirit and determination throughout his illness were truly remarkable and a testament to the kind of person he was.
