Julius Ray Hassell: Beloved Father and Brother.  Known to family as Ray, was born September 12, 1974, and passed away at the age of 45 on July 29, 2020. Ray served his country in the U.S. Navy for years under Honorable Conditions, where he learned plenty of trades and skills that he used throughout his life, before medically discharged. Ray loved to travel and would often speak on his plans to travel the world. Ray was a fun-loving joking man who always made people laugh. He was just fun to be around. Ray is preceded in death by his nanny Allie Lee Hassell, Father Ronny Roy Hassell, and mother Shirlie Bayless. Left to cherish his memories are his 5 children; Tabitha Gaskin and husband Dusty,  Stacie Hassell and husband Craig, Chance Hassell, Crystal Hassell, Caytlynn Hassell, and. his 3 granddaughters, Olivia Meek, Averie Meek and Harper Meek, 3 brothers Roy Hassell, Curtis Hassell, and Shane Hassell, and sister Ronna Lawson, and many nieces and nephews.
