It is with great sadness yet great hope, the family of Julian Lee James Dowless announces his passing on Thursday, August 16, 2018, in his 30th year.

Loved son of James Dowless and Jeannette Spurlock (Adrian), loving brother and best friend of Jessica Bradford (Joshua), and the proudest uncle of Eleanora Bradford. Survived, cherished and forever remembered by his Memaw, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

His smile was infectious, humor unmatched and selflessness so evident. Julian belonged to and found a great fellowship at Genesis Community Church as well as at his weekly Bible study lead by his dear friend and mentor. Julian was a pure man of integrity and God-fearing faith. He hungered and sought after the Word of God with every waking breath and yearned to share it with everyone who would listen. One of his greatest passions was music which he not only taught but also used to minister to others and worship the Lord with such anointing. He was a protector, provider, nurturer and a teacher through and through. Most of all, he didn’t want to make a name for himself, but rather point every single life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday August 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Private burial to take place prior to a Celebration of Life Service which will be held at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 30 Fairview Drive, Brantford on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. Donations to Diabetes Canada appreciated.
