Judy Rae Banker, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Wesley Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 10, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Raymond John Kaminsky and Estelle Rose Schallack. Judy graduated from Gloversville High School, in 1958. After graduating, she continued her education attending SUNY Albany earning her bachelor's degree in Math and History. While there she served as the president of her Sorority, Sigma Phi Sigma. She worked her entire career at General Electric in Schenectady, where she rose to the level of Sr. System Developer, earning the respect and admiration of all. After retirement, she remained physically active and continued to pursue career development in various fields. She was very outgoing, social and enjoyed meeting new people. Her life and smile were as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well. Her influence will remain forever in the lives of those she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Judy is survived by her daughters, Kimberli Joi Banker, Tiffani Joi Banker (George Piotrowski), Brittani Joi Benjamin; son, Aaron Mickey Banker; brother, James Kaminsky (Donna Byron) and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward William Banker. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 and at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friend may call from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 and from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 prior to the service at the funeral home.
