McAllen - Judith Koenig-Hardy, 62, has joined the Kingdom of Heaven and is being honored and blessed with the Lord's presence. She was born on Jan.30, 1954 and entered into our Heavenly Father's greatness on Saturday Oct.22, 2016 while at McAllen Medical Center. Judy owned and operated Koenig's Winter Resort in Donna, TX. She was also an active member of The Journey Church in Weslaco, TX.She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mary Elizabeth Koenig and her brothers Donald Koenig Jr. and David Koenig. Judy is survived by niece Melissa Bartlett (Clint Bartlett), nephew Dax Koenig and sister-in-law Cindy McAlpin-Koenig. Also left to cherish Judy's memory are Bella and Sassy, her companion dogs.A Memorial Service for Judy will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 29, 2016 at Journey Church Weslaco, 205 W 6th Street, Weslaco TX 78596. Cremation took place with All Faith Cremation & Funeral Service.
