Judith B. ZinnZANESVILLE: Judith B. Zinn, 74, of Zanesville died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness.She was born on June 29, 1939 in Zanesville the daughter of Jack and Helen (Brown) Barnes.Judith was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a graduate from Ohio University where she was the recipient of the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation Grant for educators. She received her Masters Degree in teaching and was also a Rhodes Scholar. Judith was a retired elementary school teacher for the Zanesville City Schools and belonged to the Authors Club. She is survived by three sons, C. Alfred "Al" (Susan) Zinn III of Sunbury, Stephen A. (Lora) Zinn of Centerburg and Christopher B. (Amy) Zinn of Mt. Perry; grandchildren, Lindsey Billingsley, Jacob Zinn, Matthew Zinn, Katie Schuster, Noah C. Zinn, Caleb Zinn and Joshua Zinn. Judith was preceded in death by parents; her husband, C. Alfred Zinn Jr. on October 8, 1995; a sister Linda Bunting; and a brother, Phil Barnes.Friends may call 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 05, 2013 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 516 Shinnick St. with Pastor Steve McGuire officiating.
