Juanita Constance DanielsJuanita Constance Daniels entered eternal rest on February 16, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 101. Juanita was born on February 24, 1915 in Marshall, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents McHenry Hopkins and Bessie Muckleroy Hopkins, stepfather Jim Feggett, husband Kermit Daniels, Sr., son Henry Daniels, sisters Louise Hopkins and Hattie Cotton, brothers Clyde Hopkins and Mack Hopkins. She was a graduate of Central High School (now Marshall High School) and Wiley College. She continued her education with graduate studies at Prairie View A & M University, East Texas State University and Sam Houston State University. She taught school for 32 years, retiring from the Lindale Independent School District in 1973. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Khanetta, Janice (David), Sharon and Terry; sons Kermit Jr. (Bobbie), Donald (Derlyn), Larry (Gloria) and Byron, 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Julius Scott Chapel, 711 Wiley Ave. on the campus of Wiley College. A family hour will be observed on Friday, the 24th at Haywood Stanmore Funeral Home Chapel, 501 E. Austin St. in Marshall, Texas, from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
