We are saddened to announce the passing of Joyce Ledford of Green Castle, Missouri. Joyce was born on July 24, 1946, to Gilbert and Nora Roop. She married her beloved spouse, Orin Ledford, in 1966 and together they raised two children, Mark Ledford (spouse Linda Ledford) and Angela Ballanger (spouse Randy).

Joyce was a loving grandmother to two grandchildren Jessica Zuspann(spouse Jason Zuspann)and Justin Ballanger And great grandma to Marshall, Brayden,Cameron,Mitchell, and Kylan Zuspann. Lots of nieces and nephews. She was known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and love for baking. Her famous apple pies were enjoyed by all who knew her.

On November 2, 2025, Joyce passed away peacefully due to a heart attack. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Joyce Ledford. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We will have a celebration of life on November 15th at the Novinger community center from 2pm to 4pm we will have soup supper.
