We are saddened to announce the passing of Josè Chalè, who left this world on September 1, 2024, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Born on October 31, 2006, Josè was the beloved son of Angela Marie Hill. He grew up in Des Moines and attended North High School, graduating in 2025.

Josè had a zest for life and enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, cooking, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his family. He had a special bond with his grandfather, whom he cherished deeply.

Although Josè did not have any children of his own, he touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter and warm heart.

Tragically, Josè's life was cut short by a gunshot wound. While we mourn his untimely departure, we choose to remember and celebrate the joy and love he brought into the world.

Rest in peace, Josè. You will be dearly missed.
