It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Casias, who left this world far too soon on September 11, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.

Joshua, born on June 18, 2005, to proud parents Adam Casias and Marilyn Ybarra, brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

He was a graduate of Monterey High School, where he excelled in his studies and made lifelong friendships. In 2023, he proudly walked across the stage to receive his diploma, paving the way for his future at Texas Tech University.

Though his time on Earth was short, Joshua's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He may not have had any children of his own, but his spirit will be carried on by his family and friends. He has left behind his two parents and his little sister Isabele Casias of Lubbock Texas, along with his half siblings Marissa Ratliff of Canyon Texas, and Serina Ratliff of Plainview Texas.

Joshua's passing is a tragic loss, but we choose to remember the light he brought into our lives and the laughter he shared with us all. Rest in peace, dear Joshua.
