Josephine "Jo" StinebaughSan AngeloJosephine "Jo" Stinebaugh, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Aug. 28, 2017. Memorial service is at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, in the Baptist Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.Jo was born on Oct. 19, 1922, in Denver, Colorado, to Harry and Alice Carlson. Jo married Sam Stinebaugh on Sept. 10, 1945. She was an auxiliary volunteer at Shannon for many years. Jo had a very giving spirit and was a servant to many. She always put everyone's needs before her own.She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Stinebaugh; and her brother, Harry Carlson.Jo is survived by her daughters, Linda Speed and husband Tim and Diane Zeitler and husband Irv; son Steve Stinebaugh; sister-in-law Joan Carlson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Baptist Memorial Division 5 staff for the amazing care they gave her in the last years of her life.
