Joseph Zaleha, 89, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at home. He was born on March 26, 1925 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Joseph was drafted in 1945 into the U.S. Army he was a Battalion Motor Staff Sergeant from February 1945 to May 1947. He served in Northern Italy where he met his wife Adele. They married on February 5, 1948 in Italy. He retired on his 60th birthday in 1985 and moved to Yuma, Arizona. He was a member at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Joseph is survived by his wife of over 66 years, Adele; daughters, Marie (Larry) Allen of Mesa, AZ and Nancy (Larry) Bicknell of Yuma, AZ; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at Yuma Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday, July 5, 2014; 3:00pm. His final resting place will be Desert lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Yuma Adventist Christian School.
