Joseph Wilmore, Sr.AGE: 55 •Joseph R. Wilmore, Sr., died April 11, 2017 in Perry Point VA Medical Center. He was 55.Mr. Wilmore was born on January 11, 1962, son of the late Louis and Helen Wise Wilmore. He was raised in Cecilton and was a 1980 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School. In September 1980 he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving 9 years with 4 years in Germany. He worked for the Corps of Engineers in Chesapeake City and from 2006 until 2013 Appoquinimink School District, until his health failed. He was an avid Redskins fan and loved cars.Mr. Wilmore is survived by his wife, Ivette Montalvo; his son, Joseph R. Wilmore, Jr.; step-daughters, Celina and Natalie Ayala; 4 sisters, Valada Freeman, Thaira Williams, Beverly Hollingsworth and Stacy Wilmore and 4 grandchildren, Jalen, Saraia Jayla and Jayden Wilmore.A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20 from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L.
