Nauber, Joseph W.Joseph W. "Butch" Nauber, age 77, of Menasha passed away suddenly at Theda Clark Medical Center on Friday morning, February 24, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1939 in Akeley, Minnesota son of the late William J. and Edna M. (Schmidt) Nauber. On January 21, 1961 Joe married Josephine A. Breighner in Park Falls, Minnesota. Josephine and Joseph shared almost 39 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on March 31, 2000. Joe loved farming, and would have been a farmer if he thought that could have sustained his family, but instead worked at Neenah Foundry as a dedicated employee for over 30 years. He loved fishing, woodworking, getting under the hood of a car, and traveling. Most recently, Joe loved meeting his friends at the Golden Basket for coffee in the mornings.He will be sadly missed by his children: Richard (Margie) Espenshade, Overland Park, KS; Joseph E. (Sig. other Jean Hoerning) Nauber, Appleton; William "Curt" (Debbi) Nauber, Neenah; Fred Nauber, Appleton; grandchildren: Dylan Nauber, Appleton; Amanda Finch and Joshua Nauber, Neenah; Aaron Nauber, Appleton; Rylee Nauber, Neenah; great grandchildren: Aaliyah and Mariah; his special friend, Pat Chrudinsky, Appleton; 3 brothers and 5 sisters which reside in MN. In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Josephine, Joe was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth; a granddaughter, Kaise; and a brother, Warren "Bud".An informal celebration of Joe's life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
