It is with great sadness that Joseph Cook, 27, of San Antonio, Texas, passed on October 26, 2020.
Joseph was born on July 26, 1993 to Joe and Deborah Cook. Although his family hailed from Mississippi, he was raised in Cibolo, Texas. There he developed an early love for Jehovah, Clydesdale horses, and classic cars. Joseph was known to be a little hyper in his early years whether at the Kingdom Hall, school, or at home, but all those that came to know him adored his love to talk and the huge smile he always carried. Throughout his younger years anyone that knew Joseph knew that he loved to help in any way he could and was always known as a people pleaser and learned to build lasting relationships based on mutual respect.
As he grew older, although his love for horses may have faded, his love for classic cars and fashion grew. Anyone that saw him would see him drive up in a nice car with a new outfit on ready for the camera. While here, Joseph's greatest aspiration was to be the best father that he knew how to be and to do all that he could to live life to the fullest for his children. Although, not a dedicated servant of Jehovah, Joseph held onto the values he was taught in his younger years and truly valued his family and friends and was known for the innate love and affection that he had for people. He truly believed that a man's duty is to support and take care of his family and he did his best to do just so. Everyone who knew him well knew that it didn't take much for him to consider someone as family, as his brother or sister and would often go above and beyond the call of duty in their behalf. Joseph lived life to the full and he will be severely missed.
Joseph was survived by his four children; Jo'Ary Audrion Cook "JoJo"- 8years old, Jo'Naeah Aurinae Mi'Queen Cook "Naeah"- 5 years old, Ny'veiyah Lorraine Cook "Polo"-4 years old, & Jo'siyah Tyrone Cook "BabyJo"- 2 years old. His father Joe T. Cook and mother Deborah A. Cook, Joseph's 3 siblings are; James C. Smith III- brother(father to James Smith IV, Desiree Smith, & Zyarrian Smith), LaWanda M. Page-sister(Eric Page her spouse & mother of Christopher Smith whom he considered his brother, Taurese Smith, Ly'Asia Thompson, & LaDarrya Thompson), and Rochelle D. Rizo- sister(mother of Lorenzo D. Rizo and LaRissa D. Rizo). Joseph's dad's family includes his Uncles Leon, Charles, and Howard and their families, and his aunts on his dad's side are; Ruby, Shirley, Lozeiell Cook along with their children and extended families. On his mother's side he is survived by her sisters; Patricia Ann Hardy, JoeAnn Tyler, her brothers' Carl Lewis, Jarvis and Ruby Naylor, Douglas and Sabrina Naylor, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins Annika Tyler, Dante Tyler, DaShanique Tyler along with a host of other cousins and relatives.
We will all truly miss him.
