Smith, JosephJoseph Smith, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Oakridge Gardens. Joe was born on July 1, 1937 to Henry and Ann (Keyzer) Smith. On July 4, 1962 he was united in marriage to Arlene Dunkelberger at Holy Cross in Kaukauna. Joe was a veteran having served in the US Navy. He worked at the Neenah Foundry, John Strange Papers, DHI and then Banta's until his retirement. Joe enjoyed fishing, walking the dog and telling jokes. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and sheephead and went to a local nursing home to play cards with the residents. Joe is survived by his wife Arlene, children; Thomas Smith, Sharon (Gus) Araujo, Kevin (Tammy) Smith, and Scott (Kelly) Smith, 8 grandchildren; Jessica (fiancé Zach), Amanda, Cory, Claudia, Vivian, Joleen, Ashley, and Felicia, three great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Charlene Smith, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Justin and his siblings, Ann, Clyde, Marvin, Bill and Jerome.The funeral service for Joe will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOMES TRI COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida St. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
