Joseph Matthews, a beloved member of the Washington DC community, passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on July 18, 1980, Joseph was known for his kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor. He was a loyal friend and a dedicated member of his community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Joseph will be remembered for his unwavering optimism and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He leaves behind sons Joseph X. Matthews, Diamonte' Lucus, Johonn T. Matthews and JoMiah D. Matthews and a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. The services will be on June 2, 2025. Rest in peace, Joseph.
